Here’s a photo that I’ve been intending to put up for a long time. Actually, I see that I took this photo last April! I’m really behind on my blogging.
Obviously, the store specializes in selling pens.
If you like stores with painted shutters, you need to get out and about early in the day. Or, head down to La Boca for things you see only on a Sunday.

If this is the spot I think it is, it’s more than just a store specializing in selling pens – this guy is big in the “collector’s” world, and gets written up in the papers and even the tour guides – specializes in finding and restoring antique fountain and quill pens, one-of-a-kind fountain pens (things like solid gold versions), specially prepared inks, etc.

Hi Dan,
Very interesting! I bet it’s the same place. I rarely stop in any of the antique stores of San Telmo but this sounds like a place worth investigating further. Thanks for the insight.
