I lived many years abroad & as a returning argentine I feel truly ashamed to see that it's actually people from other parts of the world the ones that are actually concerned about the appalling situation of this once beautiful city and country. I do feel insulted by the institutions and municipal councils of this place. They do neither protect our personal safety nor our architectural heritage amongst other things. There’s no more heritage in Argentina, money rules, because there isn’t much around for the ordinary person I guess. The worshipping of it, the desperation to get hold of some of it, or preserve the one already accumulated is a result of a peoples willing to do or sell anything including their own culture or heritage, their good manners & most of all, their integrity. There’s no pride any more. It’s very sad indeed. I am glad that somebody cares. Thank you so much.
