Hi, Jeff.

Your blog is great. Love your architectural photographs and am totally intrigued by your apartment. When are you coming back to the US?

Hello. Firstly, thanks for your very interesting blog which was recommended to me by a fellow traveller I met during my first and only visit to BA in June '03. I was staying on the astonishing Av de Mayo at the time & your apartment in San Telmo reminds me of one I looked at - and very nearly bought - nearby (near buy?) on the Av. Venezuela. I often think about that apartment and the other wonders of Buenos Aires - especially the Cafes y Bares Notables ... and now regret what amounts to a last minute failure of nerve. May be it was my poor/non-existent Spanish together with my fear of where the country might go: politically & economically but,I now think that, like you,I could have been a lot braver ... cape diem and all that. So thank you again for rekindling my interest, causing me to reflect upon my foolish indecision, and reminding me of what is still possible. Best Wishes, John Mountbatten.
