According to family lore his great grandfather was an opera singer (tenor) in Bologna, who did a tournee in Argentina and/or other parts of South America. I am wondering if you have come across either of these names: Antonio Franchini,born in Modena, Emilia Romagna or his wife Palmira Franchini, from Polinago (same region).
