Hi Evelyn,

Off-hand, I don't know the names but I would need to examine the research articles I have on that topic to be sure.

Greetings,
I am writing to ask you for a special favour. I came across your website while researching Italian opera singers who went to Argentina in the 19th century.
Although my husband and I live in Montreal, Canada, his ancestors are from Italy. According to family lore his great grandfather was an opera singer (tenor) in Bologna, who did a tournee in Argentina and/or other parts of South America. I am wondering if you have come across either of these names: Antonio Franchini, born in Modena, Emilia Romagna or his wife Palmira Franchini, from Polinago (same region).
Their sons were born at the end of the 1880s, so I estimate that Franchini could have visited your country any time from the mid-1800 to the early 1900s.
